250+ IP professionals take to the sky at INTA’s 140th annual meeting

On Sunday, May 20th 2018 Delegate welcomed more than 250 colleagues and partners to an exclusive seaplane event, inviting them to soar above the stunning Emerald City.

At the INTA 140th annual meeting, hundreds of IP professionals answered the call of adventure to ‘Fly Delegate’ and admire breathtaking views of the Pacific Northwest‘s metropolitan jewel. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone that joined us as explorers for the day!

25 flights were scheduled for 20th May. This created a stunning display as the planes took off to the sky and gently landed on the waters of Lake Washington, accompanied by the unmistakable sounds of the propellers in action.

Everyone was welcomed with a window seat on this scenic, 20 minute flight. We’ve no doubt that a record number of photos were taken in this short time!

While our guests patiently waited to climb aboard the aircraft, they were given the opportunity to admire the amazing work of a passionate group who put their expert hands and hearts into restoring vintage landplanes and seaplanes. A representative from the base guided guests on a journey through the rebuild of an aircraft from nose to tail and explained that the production of these incredible machines ceased several decades ago, making their work ever more important.

Once again, we would like to thank all the smiling faces that joined us in sharing this unique experience, and we are looking forward to catching up with you at #INTA2019 – if not before!
